These fabrics are needed for air supported horizontal transport or to homogenize dusty or granular bulk material as, Cement, Lime, Quartz, Plastic Powder, Fertilizer etc. Air Slide is a fully enclosed, dust free, air-actuated gravity conveyor that uses no moving parts. It employs a combination of low-pressure air and gravity to fluidize and convey most dry, granular to powdered material. Air slide Conveyors are best suited for dry materials that have a particle size ranging from 30 meshes to sub micron. Air slide is an inclined duct divided horizontally into two unequal parts by means of fabric partition. Air is blown in the lower part and passes through the fabric which makes the material flows. Air slide design is based on the principle of fluidization. Fluidization reduces the angle of material flow, this can happen when air is introduced into powder material.
